Lambda Theta Eta was the product of a joke made by Samuel Tucker (Left). While sitting at a GAYMe night at Tarleton State University, Sam jokingly said something about an LGBTQ+ fraternity. This led Sam and a few others to begin researching LGBTQ+ Greek organizations. It soon became apparent to Sam that these organizations did exist, which led him to consider creating one on campus. He decided he wanted to create an LGBTQ+ focused service organization which led to a couple of weeks of planning and the creation of our first flyer (Right). Sam - along with Vice President Carly Trewman, Treasurer Grace Flores, and Secretary Haley Bunn - held their first interest meeting on Thursday February 2nd.
Sam is a Sophomore at Tarleton State University majoring in Political Science.

You may be wondering why this flyer says "Acceptance, Advocacy, Service, Activism, Solidarity, Education." The reason is because those were our original core values, however, after much consideration, our founders decided that the last two did not accurately describe what he wanted Lambda Theta Eta to be. So they replaced them with Leadership.
